Description

The industrial drum washer for peeling and washing walnuts from the green pericarp is the fastest and most versatile among our peeling equipment. It removes the green peel from young, just-ripened nuts, as well as from nuts whose pericarp separates from the nut by itself. After washing, the nut shell remains intact and the nut is sent for drying.

The design feature is the rotating internal drum, which moves in the opposite direction to the external drum. Thanks to the adjustable speed and the unique drum coating, the machine operates with both maximum force and delicacy, depending on your needs.

Purpose of the equipment:

1. It helps to quickly clean large volumes of nuts and send them to further processing stages.
2. Peeling walnuts from the green peel prevents the kernel from darkening, saves time, effort and clean hands (iodine and juglone in the green peel are a common cause of darkening of the kernel).

Principle of operation:

Pour in the walnuts, connect the water and turn on the washer. The green peel is scraped against the tines and the water flow washes away the green waste. After cleaning, we turn off the cleaner, turn off the water supply and unload the walnuts through the door. On the table, the walnut is re-sorted – the under peeled nut is peeled by hand or sent for re-cleaning, the rest of the nut is sent for drying.
