Sizing (sorting) of walnuts is carried out before the cracking of the walnut or before the sale of the walnut on the market. The calibrated nut makes it easier and easier to adjust the nutcracker to the nut size and increases the yield of the whole kernel. Sizing is especially important when processing walnuts from the population. Also, the plus of the calibrator is that it increases the cost of the inshell nut.
